Who: Grimsley and YOU!
Where: The bad parts of Verens, then outside the Welcome Center.
When: Mid-July evening into morning
Format: Will match
Open or Closed: Open
Summary: Grimsley finally finds some real gambling action, but he can't do it alone.

1. Wrong place, right time

[Grimsley is back in his white kimono, finally properly cleaned and dried. He doesn't mind standing out, in fact, he seems to aim for that. Luckily it's warm enough for his attire. The breeze just passes right through it.

Grimsley is in the bad part of town, trying to root out the exciting stuff. He'd heard gossip in a nearby bar about an underground gambling ring, and he just had to see it for himself. He bribes and smooth talks his way into what seems like an underground loading dock under a factory. It seems to be in disuse for that, but there's a trickle of rough looking men going in. A tall fellow stops Grimsley at the door since he is so weird looking.]

[Are you in the bad part of town? Did you notice the kimono-clad cad just try to walk himself into somewhere with no invitation? Grimsley's emotions spike. He's excited. This is quite the gamble here.]

Oh no, of course you hadn't heard that I was arriving. I'm a new contender. My battler? Ah, there they are.

[And he points directly at you with his coin between his fingers.] Come along now, or we'll be late!

2. Choose Your Fighter

[Grimsley is reaching out through the network now that he has a better idea of how this all works.]

Good evening, friends. It's your uncle Grimsley looking for a business partner. If you enjoy a good fight and the weight of some extra money, come talk to me. I've found a wonderful opportunity, and with me as your manager, we will certainly crush the competition!

[Grimsley's emotions are coming through the connection very strongly. He's elated, excited, and nervous all in one. He's teeming with the yearning to participate in this.]

Preferably... You should have some fighting experience... But we can make do with whatever.

3. The Next Morning

[It's the wee hours as Grimsley comes back into the main roads towards the welcome center. His hands are in front of him, tucked into the opposite sleeves. He looks tired, but there's a wild excitement in his eyes, a lop-sided grin on his lips, and a jingling of money hanging in his kimono sleeve. He seems to be rolling on this feeling because as you come across him, he steps into your way.

There is liquor on his breath.]

Good morning, fellow. [His eyes fall onto your emotions pendant before his eyes flick back up to your face.]
